Swimming is excellent there.The long narrow sand beach has a wide shallow water swimming area just across from the cottage.

The water stays shallow (two to four feet) at least 50-60 feet out from the shoreline, providing a safe area for children and non-swimmers.There is a swimming float and inner tubes are available for floating. The canoe is docked off the pier.

The lake abounds with food for the fisherman: plentiful bass, lake trout, perch and pickerel. Many trout streams are nearby. Large mouth bass hide out in the reeds at the far south (left) end of the lake.
